I.  Ex:-    a) It was dark. I had to use torch.

               b) It is raining. Take an Umbrella.

               c) It is lunch time. Come and join me.

II.          It is good if you can help the one in need.

             It is good helping those in need

             It is good to help those in need

               In the above That cannot replace It.
